Just found a fantastic app called PathSource

The app offers career recommendations, personal salary calculations, career advice from real people who have the jobs you’re interested in, and can even build a resume for you! (I used a resume made on this app for a school application and I got excellent feedback on it)

It has a salary quiz that tells you how much you need to earn in order to afford your ideal life, a career test that matches you with the right career and many many other quizzes.

It’s a free app and is currently only available to iOS devices

After taking the quizzes, the app shows you a bunch of careers (in a similar format to Tinder, where if you’re interested in a career you swipe right and if you’re not, you swipe left.) along with information relevant to the career such as; average salary, employment opportunities, work experience requirements, minimum education requirements, recommended majors and projected job growth.

as a high school student, this is a very helpful app because I’m having a hard time thinking of possible fields to get into after university and PathSource helps me narrow down my options so I’m less overwhelmed with everything.

Reblogging to spread to some younger peeps. I went the flounder at university and spend unnecessary money to figure out what to do route. Any tools to help reduce the time and money spent changing ones education path are awesome.

This is important for all those who think they have no future
